Vaush convinced Hunter Avallone to stop supporting right-wing politics after their debate. Vaush became well-known after he debated Carl Benjamin. Vaush is very critical of right-wing politics. He used to work for Destiny on Destiny’s show but then left to start his own channel about video games and left-wing politics on the website Twitch and later on YouTube. Vaush is a YouTuber whose real name is Ian Kochinski. I think we should be able to disagree with someone politically without holding them to personal standards you wouldn't hold anyone else to just to spite them.On libertarianism's relationship with socialism Usually people who hold the latter belief adopt the former, which I think is telling. his past toxic behaviour towards a female online friend and his use of offensive language, both of which he's strongly apologised for since) or his politics (that he doesn't meet various categories of leftist purity which usually seem to require him to abandon concern for human rights in some way). Some people don't like his 'edgy' jokes, abrasive attitude, being a 'debate-bro' (abrasiveness + politics essentially as wrestling) or befriending internet figures who are at various degrees of moving away from being reactionaries (i.e. Doing a debate will just give him a bigger audience to preach to. He cares about image and proselytism to his backwards worldview. I don't think there is really a way of taking him on in a debate, because he obviously doesn't care about the truth. He also spouts wacko conspiracy bullshit until he's fact checked, at which point he withdraws from his position that way, he both successfully spreads conspiratorial bollocks and gives himself credibility. He endorses everything they say right up until the point they start spouting off about the Jewish Question, giving him plausible deniability. He also sadly does a good job of distancing himself from the far right.
